The Skills for Work Life Community Partner programme is a module taken by students of the J.E. Cairnes School of Business and Economics at NUI, Galway. The programme integrates meaningful community engagement with instruction and reflection to enrich the student’s learning experience, teach civic responsibility, and strengthen community links.
In recent weeks students conducted a survey to establish the water safety knowledge of students attending NUIG. Their findings and recommendations will be used to develop marketing programmes that target this at-risk group.
We are delighted to have worked with the students and thank them sincerely for helping us to deliver a message that will hopefully lead to a reduction in aquatic incidents among the student population.
